• She has been a dancer since age of six and Kathak and Odissi dancer since age of sixteen. She was trained in Odissi and Kathak by the legends – Kelucharan Mohapatra and Birju Maharaj. She has also learned Contemporary Modern dance at the Terrence Lewis Contemporary Dance Company and trained in Jazz and Ballet.

• She started her career in acting with the Bollywood film Tere Liye, at the age of 17. Since then, she has acted in many films including a Telugu film named Ninu Chudaka Nenundalenu in 2002.
