Despite his father, B. K. Adarsh, being a filmmaker, Adarsh started working as a journalist when he was merely 15. Even at such a young age, Adarsh was hired to work as the editor of Trade Guide, a weekly box-office magazine.

In the year 1994, he wrote and produced a film based TV show by the name of ‘Hello Bollywood.’ The sitcom reportedly starred actors Kashmira Shah and Shehzad Khan in the lead roles.
