  • With the help of Rosemary, he got the hockey scholarship from Glenwood High School, Durban, South Africa.

  • He later decided to be a cricketer as it was financially more helpful.
  • In 2014, he was selected for the South Africa Under-19 World Cup but was played in only one match.
