Nara is the nephew of the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Nara Chandrababu Naidu.

During his childhood, he used to be obese but he lost 25 kg weight after he decided to become an actor.

He started his acting career in 2009 by playing the role of ‘Bhagat Panigrahi’ in the Telugu film ‘Baanam.’

Apart from being a great actor, he is a good singer and has sung the song ‘Teenmaar’ for the Telugu film ‘Savitri’ (2016).

Nara Rohit also lent his voice at the beginning of the Telugu film ‘Swamy Ra Ra’ (2013).
