Despite his family’s poor financial condition, they somehow raised funds for his surgery, after which his vision improved to around 60%.

• He is an Indian blind B-3 category cricketer and is an opening batsman & wicket-keeper in the Indian blind cricket team.

• Prakash was Man of the Match in the finals of the Blind World Cup T20 2017, for his unbeaten 99. In the tournament, he scored 96, 99, 99, 115 and 99.
