• Priyadarshi Pulikonda is an Indian actor, comedian, film director, and writer, who predominantly works in the Telugu film industry. He rose to fame after playing the role of Kaushik in the Telugu-language romantic comedy Pelli Choopulu (2016).

• Priyadarshi belongs to a Telugu-speaking family in Telangana. His father hails from Mahabubnagar in Telangana, and his mother hails from Guntur, Andhra Pradesh.

• At the age of 2, Pridarshi moved to Hyderabad with his parents. Pridarshi spent his childhood in different cities including Hyderabad (old city), Gachibowli and Chandanagar.

• Since childhood, Priyadarshi has had a strong belief in science and logic.

• He caught the acting bug in childhood after he watched the Telugu film Sagara Sangamam. While studying at Hyderabad University, he joined the university’s theatre group and started performing in theatre plays. Meanwhile, he also joined Aruna Bikshu’s acting school to polish his acting skills. In an interview, while talking about his acting aspirations, Priyadarshi said,
  

  I was seven when I saw Sagara Sangamam and decided to be an actor. It was a paradigm shift for me. I am a big fan of Kamal Haasan and Chiranjeevi. I saw many films by K. Balachander, K. Vishwanath, and Singeetam Srinivasa Rao. Aruna Bikshu taught me how to learn and unlearn, and then I gained experience from short films.”

• Priyadarshi Pulikonda began his acting career in 2016 with the Telugu film Terror.

• Following the success of his Telugu film Pelli Choopulu, Pulikonda bagged the role of a Tamil refugee in Iraq (stuck in the ISIS war) in the Malayalam film Take Off (2017).

• He has played supporting roles in many popular Telugu films like The Ghazi Attack (Simultaneously shot in Hindi) (2017), Winner (2017), Arjun Reddy (2017), Jai Lava Kusa (2017), and Spyder (2017).

• He then appeared in the Telugu films Awe (2018), Nela Ticket (2018), NOTA (2018), and Mr. Majnu (2019).

• Priyadarshi bagged his first lead role in the Telugu film Mallesham as Chintakindi Mallesham. Directed by Raj R, the film is a biopic of Chintakindi Mallesham, the inventor of the Asu machine that reduced the manual efforts of weavers in Pochampally. The film was streamed on Netflix.

• In 2020, Priyadarshi Pulikonda appeared in ZEE5’s Telugu web series Loser. He played the role of Suri Yadav in the series. Later, he also starred in its sequel Loser 2.

• A year later, Priyadarshi played the role of Aadi in the Telugu web series In the Name of God. The series streamed on Aha.

• He has also appeared in Disney+ Hotstar’s Unheard in which he played the role of Badri.

• Subsequently, he appeared in the Telugu comedy series Save The Tigers on Disney+ Hotstar. He played Ghanta Ravi, a dairy farm owner who is one of the three frustrated husbands who meet by chance at their children’s school on Mother’s Day and find solace in each other.

• In 2012, Priyadarshi worked as a writer in the Kannada film Dakota Picture.

• He has worked as a writer and director in the Telugu short films Ponnu Vaadu (2012) and The Delivery (2019).

• He has also worked as a voice-over artist in a few films. In 2018, Priyadarshi lent his voice to the character of RJ Balaji for the Telugu version of the Tamil film Thaanaa Serndha Koottam. He later voiced the anime character Olaf in the Telugu version of Frozen 2.
