He was born on a small French island Martinique. French footballing legends Thierry Henry and Abidal also belong to this island.
He has three brothers and was raised with them; one elder and one younger.
His whole family loves football. His elder brother used to play football but he retired due to injury. He was said to be a great talent. His younger brother also plays football in the young French football sector.
He started playing football at a very young age. His father who was a big fan of football took him to play in his regional football team’s games.
He started with rugby, though he felt it wasn’t his calling and fell in love with football.
