• Saloni Khanna is an Indian actress and model, who predominantly works in the Hindi and Punjabi entertainment industry. In 2021, she came into the limelight for her performance in the web series Campus Diaries on MX Player in which she played the role of Sushmita.

• In 2019, Saloni and Viraf met while shooting for a show in Mumbai. Gradually, they got romantically inclined towards each other, and eventually, got married in an intimate ceremony at the Bandra Court in Mumbai. As per some media sources, the couple donated their saving, which they accumulated for the wedding, to the COVID-19 relief fund.

• In 2016, after graduating from NorthCap University, Saloni started her career as a Java developer with the multinational company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in New Delhi. However, after working there for a few months, she felt unexcited by the tedious nature of a corporate job. Consequently, she quit her job at TCS to explore more career options.

• After quitting her job at TCS, Saloni decided to pursue an MBA. After she cracked the entrance exam, there was a six months gap in joining a business school. During that time, Saloni was approached by Purple Thoughts, a Delhi-based modelling agency in which she got the opportunity to pass her time doing modelling on behalf of the agency.

• Gradually, while working with the modelling agency, Saloni got inclined toward modelling after she met new people, travelled to various places, and got the opportunity to walk for ramps at fashion weeks. Consequently, she decided to pursue a career in modelling rather than doing an MBA.

• Saloni, while working with the Purple Thoughts modelling agency, came to Mumbai for a modelling shoot. While staying in Mumbai, she got herself admitted to an acting and theatre class and subsequently, performed in various theatrical productions.

• In 2016, Saloni was featured in the music videos, Pyar Vich and PYT-Pretty Young Thing.

• During her modelling days, Saloni walked the ramp, representing the costume designs of various Indian fashion designers at several fashion weeks like India Couture Week 2016, India Fashion Week 2017,  Lakme Fashion Week 2018, India Couture Week 2018, Lakme Fashion Week 2019, etc.

  Modelling was meant to be a stop-gap arrangement until I joined college, but things really worked well for me and I was a part of pretty much every show in Delhi. So much so that I dropped the MBA plan to focus on my modelling career. Then, the agency I was associated with moved to Mumbai, and I had the option to go along, which I did.”
