• In childhood, she used to love dancing and participated in various dance competitions in her school.

• In her teens, Sargun, along with her younger brother, auditioned for the reality TV dance show ‘Boogie Woogie,’ but they both were rejected. She performed on the song “I am Barbie Girl.”

• While she was in college, she started performing in theatre plays.

• She was never interested in making a career in the acting industry, she had a plan to pursue an MBA in marketing from the UK but when her college ended, she auditioned for the Hindi TV serial ‘12/24 Karol Bagh’ and got selected. The show was shot in Delhi (where she was living) and she didn’t have to move to Mumbai.

• In 2009, while she was working in the Hindi TV serial ’12/24 Karol Bagh,’ she became good friends with her co-actor Ravi Dubey. Soon, they fell in love with each other. While they were contestants in the Hindi reality TV show ‘Nach Baliye 5,’ Ravi Dubey proposed to her for marriage.
