Dinesh Gopalsamy is an Indian actor who predominately works in Tamil films and television shows. In 2023, he appeared as a wild card contestant on the reality TV show Bigg Boss Tamil 7 on Star Vijay.

Dinesh was a freelancer program producer and show director at Golden Amber Productions from 2007 to 2010. He contributed to content management, script writing, event management, and non-fiction show direction.

From 2010 to 2014, he worked as a performing artist at VIJAY Television Private Limited on a contractual basis. Being a part of the production house, he appeared in Tamil fictional shows like Pirivom Santhippom (2011) as Karthik, Kana Kaanum Kaalangal (2013), and Puthu Kavithai (2013) as Dhanush. The shows aired on Vijay TV.
