• Klarisse de Guzman has participated in many singing competitions since childhood.

• In 2001, when she was nine years old, she participated in Batang Kampeon, a singing competition and won second prize.

• After that, Klarisse de Guzman participated in the singing reality show Star for a Night, where she competed with Angeline Quinto and Sarah Geronimo.

• During her college days at De La Salle College of Saint Benilde, she was part of a band called Turning Point.

• In 2013, Klarisse de Guzman auditioned for the singing reality show The Voice of the Philippines with the song Tulak Ng Bibig by Julianne Tarroja.

• During the audition, all four judges, Bamboo Mañalac, Sarah Geronimo, Lea Salonga, and Apl.de.ap, turned their chairs to show interest in mentoring her.

• In 2016, Klarisse de Guzman appeared as a song interpreter in Himig Handog, a songwriting and music video competition, and performed the song Sana’y Tumibok Muli, composed by Jose Joel Mendoza, with a music video produced by Asia Pacific College.

• In May 2016, she, along with singers Liezel Garcia and Emmanuelle Vera, formed a group named O Diva. The group performed at We Love OPM, a music competition by ABS-CBN. The show was mentored by KZ Tandingan.

• O Diva performed songs such as Ikaw Ang Pangarap, Katawan, Gaya ng Dati, Kung Kailangan Mo Ako (with Power Chords group), Basang-basa Sa Ulan, Karakaraka, and Batang-Bata Ka Pa.

• On 17 July 2016, in the grand finale, which was organised at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Resorts World Manila, they performed the song Limang Dipang Tao and placed third.

• In May 2016, Klarisse de Guzman performed in a vocal show named ASAP Homegrown Divas on ASAP with Angeline Quinto, Morissette, and Jona.
