ControversiesRemoving the doors of a women's toilet
In December 2021, a judicial magistrate court ordered an FIR against Murlidhar Mohol and three others for allegedly removing the doors of a women's toilet in the Paud Fata area of Kothrud. Murlidhar is accused of forcing the residents of the area to leave their homes and move to other places. Accused of biasness
In 2021 during Murlidhar's tenure as Mayor of Pune Municipal Corporation, he was accused of giving promotion to his own workers despite not meeting the criteria. The opposition parties claimed that out of 40 candidates eligible for promotion, education certificates of 17 workers were found suspicious.
