- He played cricket for his school team and scored 221 runs in an Under-14 match. In 2013, he became the second cricketer from St George’s College, Weybridge to score 1000 runs in a single season.
- He made headlines in 2017 when he hit 279 runs off 138 balls against Reading Blue Coat School, which included 19 sixes and 29 fours.
- He later played cricket for the age group teams of Surrey Cricket Club.

- He played for England in the 2018 Under-19 World Cup in New Zealand.
