• Yash Dandge is known by his stage name 99side. His stage name is inspired by a New York-based hip-hop duo Mobb Deep who used street codes as their song names and Yash lives on the 99th street so he chose the name 99side.

• His first encounter with Hip Hop happened when he saw someone’s tattoo of the musical artist Lil Bin. Later, he discovered rapping and began writing raps; however, in the beginning, he did not take rapping very seriously.
