• Yuvraj moved to Chandigarh from Roorkee, Uttrakhand in 2014 to pursue cricket professionally. In Chandigarh, he joined the Gursagar Cricket Academy where he took training under former Punjab player Amit Uniyal.

• Yuvraj considers Yuvraj Singh as his cricketing idol.

• In 2017, Yuvraj guided Chandigarh to victory in the Punjab inter-district under-16 tournament for the ML Markan Trophy. He was the star player for his team with 270 runs and 37 wickets in the tournament. He said in an interview,
