• In childhood, she was inclined towards singing and acting. She used to participate in various singing and acting competitions in her school.

• As a kid, she sometimes used to wear a saree and recite dialogues in front of the mirror.

• In 2010, while she was going with her mother to enrol her younger brother Anindya Bhattacharjee in school, she met a television producer there. The producer offered her a role in a television series, but her mother declined the offer. However, after various requests by the producer, her mother agreed to it.

• She worked as a child actor in various Bengali films and TV serials.
