  • During his college days, he captained the Kollam district football team. However, Johny discovered his true passion in acting, gaining fame through roles in movies such as “Agni Parvatham(1985),” “Rajavinte Makan(1986),” and “Aavanazhi(1986).”
  • Johnny, at the age of 23, made his debut in the 1979 Malayalam film “Nithya Vasantham,” portraying a character aged 55.

  • In 1979, Kundara Johny appeared in the Malayalam film Kazhukan. In 1980, he was cast in the film Karimpana. In 1981, he appeared as Johny in the Malayalam film Aayudham. He then went on to appear in more than a hundred Malayalam films including Angachamayam (1982), Veendum Chalikkunna Chakram (1984), and Kireedom (1985).
