ControversiesEd Joyce Runout

On 17 July 2016, Afghanistan was playing an ODI match against Ireland at Stormont, Belfast. While fielding, Nabi stopped the ball and threw it towards the wicket-keeper due to which Ireland Batsman Ed Joyce was run out. Since the match did not have a TV replay feature, umpires asked Nabi if he crossed the boundary to which he replied that the ball was inside the ground, and he had not touched the boundary rope. [1]Belfast Telegraph Later, photographs showed that Nabi had crossed the boundary rope after which many fans criticised him as a cheater.
