• Yamuna Srinidhi started learning Bharatanatyam when she was six years old.

• She trained under various Bharatanatyam teachers in different styles. She learned the Mysore style of Bharatanatyam from Guru Padmabhushan Dr. K. Venkatalaxmamma, the Pandanallur style from Guru Sri Muralidhara Rao, the Tanjore style from Guru Smt. Nadini Eswer, and Odissi from Guru Smt. Noopur Chaterjee.

• After finishing her formal studies, she moved to America when she was 18 years old. There, she taught Bharatanatyam to thousands of students and performed in about 500 to 600 shows.

• Yamuna Srinidhi performed her Rangapravesham in 1987.

• In October 2001, she founded the Nrityasiri Center for Performing Arts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, and began working as its Artistic Director.

• After living in the USA for 15 years as a Bharatanatyam dancer, choreographer, and cultural representative, Yamuna Srinidhi returned to India in 2012.

• In May 2012, she founded Bevu Health and Wellness Private Limited and became its director. The organization focuses on health, hygiene, sanitation, nutrition, education access, and supporting farmers’ income in rural India.

• Yamuna Srinidhi began her acting career with the Kannada serial Ashwini Nakshatra in 2013.

• After making her film debut in 2014, she went on to appear in many films such as Ranna (Kannada, 2015), 3 Gante 30 Dina 30 Second (Kannada, 2018), Devadas (Telugu, 2018), and Love 360 (Kannada, 2022).
