• Siyaahi belongs to a Kashmiri-origin family situated in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

• Siyaahi had learned about the hip-hop genre in the third class. He used to play antakshari with his friend and once his friend sang Eminem’s song Smack That, which sparked his interest in hip hop.

• Siyaahi has worked with numerous brands like Coca-Cola, the Saath Foundation, and Rio drinks.

• In his childhood, Siyaahi used to listen to ghazals his father used to play on his stereo. His father also used to translate Urdu phrases in the ghazals for him.

• After shifting to Ahmedabad, Siyaahi got more exposure and explored more of his hip-hop side.

• At the age of 15, he wrote his first rap and performed it. His rap skills developed with his brother, who played the guitar as a hobby and with whom he used to jam together for hours.

• Siyaahi recorded his first song in 2017 for a contest. He recorded the song at a radio station with the help of his friend who used to work at that radio station.

• Siyaahi opened for the Kenny Sebastian show in 2018.

• He got his stage name Siyaahi by mistake from a judge of a beat contest in 2018. Siyaahi was the name of his debut song which he released in the show but the judge thought that it was his stage name. Later, he kept it as his stage name as he found it more suitable.

• Started as a street rapper, Siyaahi signed his first record deal at the age of 19. In the same year, he also released his debut album.
