Controversy	Calling 'Dhurandhar The Revenge' a propaganda As of March 2026, Reet Padda has 6,700 followers on Instagram. She came into limelight after her comments regarding movies like Dhurandhar, The Kashmir Files and The Kerala Story were circulated on the internet. While commenting against a user on her social media, she called Dhurandhar a government friendly narrative and used political speeches to justify incidents like demonetisation and said it qualified as propaganda. She also said that there were innumerable examples of movies such as The Kashmir Files and The Kerala Story using numbers that were exaggerated and showed magnified stories against a community and referred to claims of mass conversions as inflated numbers against documented conversions. She added that movies of political nature which did not fit the ruling story had difficulties in their release citing Punjabi 95 as an example. Her comments also included criticism of Priyanka Chopra not taking a stronger stand at the Oscars 2026 when co presenter Javier Bardem offered his support to Palestine. She questioned how there wasn't more public figures using their platforms to fight against what they felt were action they felt were wrong, and said she expected more from those in such situations. The statements were a controversy online, and resulted in numerous conversations on social media. Many users linked her view to actress Aneet Padda, which brought Aneet into the debate although there was no comment from her. During the controversy, social media users had also alleged that Reet has dated a Pakistani named Faazil Ahmed who has around 1.3K followers on Instagram.
