- After completing his formal education, Mo Bobat began working as the Head of Sporting Intelligence at Derby County FC (EFL Championship).
- Apart from cricket, he then expanded his career in sports management into professional football.
- Mo Bobat then became known for his smart ways of finding talented players, building strong teams, and improving the way teams are managed.
- In 2004, he started working as a Sports Science Lecturer and Physical Education (PE) teacher at Leicester College. He served in the position till 2007.
- In January 2008, Mo Bobat started working as a Teacher of Sport and Physical Education at Wyggeston College. He served in the position till October 2011.
- During this period, he started his career in sports science education and learned coaching.
- In March 2011, Mo Bobat was appointed as a Chairman at Leicestershire and Rutland Cricket Limited Coaches Association. He served in the position till March 2012.

As I got a bit older it was Dennis Bergkamp – an absolute genius who did some of the most special things I’ve seen on a football pitch. I suppose I can’t not mention Thierry Henry, probably the best player we’ve ever had.”
