Akash Vasisht is an Indian cricketer who plays for Himachal Pradesh in domestic cricket. He played for the franchise team Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League 2023.

He started his cricketing journey representing Himachal Pradesh Under-19s and Under-22s teams.

On 28 December 2014, Akash made his first-class debut for Himachal Pradesh in a match against Assam in the Ranji Trophy 2014/15 at Barsapara Cricket Stadium, Guwahati.

In February 2018, his team won the Lakshya Champions Trophy.

On 18 November 2019, he made his debut in the Twenty20 format for Himachal Pradesh in a match against Railways in the 2019–20 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy at Sector 16 Stadium, Chandigarh.

Akash scored his maiden century in first-class cricket in February 2020, scoring 141 runs for Himachal Pradesh ina match against Uttar Pradesh during Ranji Trophy.

On 21 February 2021, he made his List A debut for Himachal Pradesh in a match against Maharashtra in the 2020–21 Vijay Hazare Trophy at KL Saini Ground, Jaipur.

In the 2021–22 Vijay Hazare Trophy, Vasisht was a part of the winning Himachal Pradesh squad. It was Himachal Pradesh’s maiden win in the competition.

His performance in the 2022-23 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy was immensely appreciated. In the championship, he finished as Himachal Pradesh’s highest run-getter with 216 runs at an average of 54 and a strike rate of 163.63.
