Controversies	• Fight with the transgender actress Karla Sofía Gascón In 2025, Alfredo sparked a controversy when he called Karla Sofia a terrible actor. He was not happy with her nomination for the Best Actress Oscar award for the film "Emilia Pérez." Some Lesser Known Facts About Alfredo Adame

• Alfredo’s father is from Mexico, and his mother is from a German background.

• Alfredo was six years old when he shifted to Mexico City with his family.

• Before becoming an actor, Alfredo worked as a pilot in a private airline company in Mexico. At the same time, his modelling career started when he caught the attention of some clothing brands due to his physical attractiveness. At one time, he did eleven ad commercials at the same time.

• Televisa, a broadcasting company, invited Alfredo to work on their channel when Aeroméxico went bankrupt in 1988. He was hired temporarily till the time the airline company issues were resolved. He started as a host of a section on the show ‘Videocosmos’ and after three months, he became the host of the show.

• Initially, Alfredo was hired for 20 episodes of the show “Mi segunda madre” (My Second Mother), alongside María Sorté, but later he stayed for the entire show.

• Two years after the airline company went bankrupt, Alfredo received a telegram from Aeroméxico asking him to return to work as a pilot. He refused the offer and continued to work with the Televisa channel as his income was much higher at that time.

• In 1990, Alfredo appeared in a lead role in the show Balada por un amor. This was followed by ‘The Force of Love’ in the same year, Facing the Sun in 1992, Beyond the Bridge in 1994, and Family Portrait in 1995.
