• While growing up, Anita Ukah developed an interest in modelling, and she always dreamt of becoming Miss World.

• While she was pursuing graduation, she won the Miss Igbinedion University pageant.
  

  Anita Ukah on winning Miss Igbinedion University Okada

• Earlier, she enrolled twice for the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria pageant, but she got rejected.

• In 2018, she again enrolled for the contest and finished as the winner of the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria pageant. She represented Imo State in the contest. The event was held at Gabriel Okara Cultural Centre, Yenagoa, Nigeria.

• Anita went on to represent Nigeria in the Miss World 2018 contest and finished in the top 30 contestants. The event was organised in China at Sanya City Arena.
