• Initially, she got training through a pistol but later, her consistency was shown through a rifle in 3P events. 

• Anjum was trained as an NCC Cadet and learned the basics of shooting from her NCC Unit Commander Colonel Chauhan.

• In 2010, she became a part of the Indian Shooting Team. 

• Anjum has participated in almost 10 international competitions and is the winner of 7 international medals.
