Anoop Menon is a renowned personality in the Malayalam film industry, known for his work in film as an actor, director, screenwriter, and lyricist.

Anoop Menon is a bright student in his academic and curricular activities. He did his graduation degree in Law as the first rank holder from Kerala University.

During his college years, he also appeared on TV, hosting programs on Surya and Kairali TV, where he met filmmaker and screenwriter Shankar Ramakrishnan. Both of them learned acting and film direction under the guidance of the renowned Malayalam movie director Ranjith. Anoop and Ranjith worked together in many films. Ranjith was also the co-director of Anoop’s debut direction film, King Fish (2012).

In an interview, Anoop Menon once mentioned that he is an avid literature reader, and it was his school, Christ Nagar School, Thiruvananthapuram, where he completed his education that first connected him with the world of literature.
