• After debuting in the Tamil film industry in 1971, Babloo appeared as a child artist in many other Tamil films including ‘Dr. Siva’ (1975), ‘Naalai Namadhe’ (1975), and ‘Naan Vazhavaippen’ (1979). • Babloo has worked in various Telugu films. He played the role of ‘Prashanth’ in a supernatural film titled ‘Devullu’ in 2000. In the same year, he appeared in other films including ‘Bachi’ and ‘Sanchalanam.’ In 2019, he played the role of ‘Jaipal Reddy’ in the biographical film ‘NTR: Mahanayakudu,’ which was based on the real-life and political career of actor N. • On 5 October 2006, Prithiveeraj, Beena, and their son, Ahed, were stopped by security officials at the Kempegowda International Airport in Karnataka as they believed that Ahed, an eleven-year-old specially-abled, could be a threat to other passengers on the flight. When the matter was brought to a CISF officer, he defended the officials and stated that they were merely following the rule of not allowing “mentally retarded” passengers as the international civil aviation rules tell so. ^[5]Hindustan Times

• In 2014, Babloo established ‘Cha Republic,’ a bubble tea shop located at 5, 2nd Avenue in Besant Nagar, Chennai. According to him, he drew inspiration for the shop from a similar outlet that he noticed in Malaysia while driving by.

• In 2016, an audio message from Prithiveeraj went viral on the internet, where he talked about overcoming a phase of suicidal thoughts. It, however, was later found out that the audio clip originated from one of his short films. Prithiveeraj soon addressed the situation in an interview and clarified that he had sent the clip for correction on WhatsApp, but it was leaked. He mentioned that the clip served as a medium to encourage people worldwide to stay strong during challenging times.
