- After his birth, Brandon Lake grew up in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina where his father was a pastor of a church plant.
- Brandon was inclined towards learning and playing the guitar in childhood and his father was the one who supported and enhanced his idea. His father also taught him to play a few basic guitar chord progressions.
