Car accident case
In 2017, Geetha, the grandson of a Bangalore industrialist named Adikeshavulu, met with an accident that left him and five other persons injured following which he was accused of possessing 850 grams of marijuana in his car. It was reported that the actors Prajwal Devaraj, Diganth Manchale, and Abishek Ambareesh were the witnesses of Geetha Vishnu's accident and they escaped the crime scene. A few days later, Diganth denied the accusations and told the police that during the time of the accident, he was shooting for a movie in Kanakpura. He also said that he was nowhere associated with any drug. Later, Diganth defended himself by saying,
"I do agree that I personally know Mr. Vishnu. But that doesn't mean that we were there with him when the mishap took place. It is not fit for anybody to just include our names just because we both know Mr. Vishnu. This is wrong."
