  • Irma Testa started attending the gym and training at the age of twelve. She only wanted to follow her older sister Lucia, who used to train at the Boxe Vesuviana gym.
  • Irma met coach Lucio Zurlo, who was the owner of the Italian boxing club Boxe Vesuviana, at the gym while she was doing a workout session.
  • She started participating in professional competitions at the age of 15.
  • In 2012, Irma made her junior championship debut and took part in the European Boxing Confederation (EUBC) Junior Championship in Władysławowo, Poland, in which she took part in the 50kg category.
  • In 2015, Irma Testa was enlisted in the State Police and became part of the Fiamme Oro Sports Group, which was the sports group of the State Police.
