- In June 2015, Jeffrey played his first international match for the SLCB President’s XI against Pakistan.
- Jeffrey was the 168th player for Sri Lanka when he made his ODI debut. He conceded 34 runs in 2 overs and remained not out on 7 runs in his debut match.
- Jeffrey’s first ODI wicket came against New Zealand in the 3rd ODI of the series at Saxton Oval; he dismissed Tom Latham for 42 runs.
