  • In 1979, she was part of a music band called The Slowguns from Stockport, England. She quit the band before their singles were released later the same year.
  • In 1982, she became the lead singer (Cindy) of the pop band Cindy and The Saffrons. Their cover version of the song Past, Present and Future by the Shangri-las was popular and was ranked 56th in the UK singles chart in early 1973. They disbanded soon thereafter.
