Controversies	• The Drug Allegation Scandal During the season 9 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA), one of the cast members Phaedra Parks informed Porsha Williams that Kandi Burruss and her husband Todd Tucker, had planned to drug Williams and their mutual friend Shamea Morton, to take advantage of them sexually. This claim was later revealed as false. Thereafter, Phaedra Parks admitted of spreading false drugging accusations. Later, Kandi Burruss expressed that she was hurt after hearing the false allegation and her professional reputation was damaged after the incident. [1]People.com • Conflict with Xscape Band According to sources, Kandi Burruss had few conflicts with LaTocha during performing in R&B group. She had disagreement over lead vocal roles, and claimed several times of being uncomfortable with LaTocha singing lead on multiple tracks. She also had problems Rocky Biven who was LaTocha's boyfriend and the manager of the band. Kandi stated that LaTocha was trying build her solo career, which led to the separation in the band.
