Controversies• In 2020, in an interview with a local TV show, Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar opposed the validity of the Aurat March which was supposed to be held on Women’s Day (March 8). The host of the show recited the slogan of the march which was 'Mera jism meri marzi' (My Body, My Choice) to which Khalil-ur-Rehman replied to her saying

“Apna jism dekho; koi mard thookay ga bhi nahin uss par.” (Your body, your choice? Look at your body. No man would even spit on it.)"

He then called her a bitch and told her to “shut up”, repeatedly. This statement of the writer was not taken well with the audience and was trolled across the nation. [1]The News International
