  • Malav A. Dani is an Indian businessman and entrepreneur. He is the second-generation scion of one of the founding families of Asian Paints Ltd and the son of business tycoon Ashwin Dani. He is a Non-executive Director and Chairman of CSR Committee at Asian Paints. Apart from that, he is also a Managing Director of Hitech Corporation Limited.
  • He was born into a Hindu Jain family. His grandfather, Suryakant Dani, hailed from Kapadvanj, Kheda, Gujarat. Suryakant later moved to Mumbai, where co-founded Asian Paints, along with his three friends Champaklal Choksey, Chimanlal Choksi, and Arvind Vakil in February 1942. [5]Forbes India

  • From 2007 to 2022, he held the position of Executive Director of Hitech Group, a BSE-listed plastic and packaging company. In 2011, he took up the role of Joint Managing Director at Hitech Group. Following this, he became its Managing Director. He also played the role of Process Advisor & Evaluator at Hitech Plast Ltd, leading the company to be recognized as “Asia’s 100 Best & Fastest Growing Manufacturing Companies of 2013-14” by World Consulting and Research Corporation (WCRC) in partnership with KPMG. Under his leadership, Hitech Plast Limited was selected as a winner in the outstanding category of the Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards 2015. In March 2018, Hitech Corporation Ltd was acknowledged as India’s Best Plastic Packaging Solutions Company. Hitech also won the ‘India’s Best Company of the Year Award 2018’ by Berkshire Media LLC, USA in recognition of their creative innovations and significant contributions to the growth of the Indian economy.   • From 2009 to 2013, he served as the Chairman of ‘The Young Leaders’ Forum at the Indian Merchants’ Chamber (IMC). Over the years, he held various roles at IMC, including Chairman of the ‘Ease of Doing Business In India’ (2017-18) and Chairman of the ‘Green Mobility & Water Sustainable Committee’ (2019-20). In his capacity as Chairman, one of his accomplishments included presenting a strategic plan to the Joint Parliamentary Standing Committee on Commerce in the Rajya Sabha, with the objective of improving India’s performance in the Ease of Doing Business rankings.
