  • In 1999, Mallika made her debut in acting with a Kannada film, Kaanooru Heggadithi.
  • Her first leading role was in the 2001 film Guptagamini.
  • Soon, she became a household name among the Kannada audience through her versatile performances in projects like Mussanjaya Katha Prasanga (2000), Garva (2001-2003), and Magha Mayuri (2014).

  • In 2018, she received a full scholarship to train as a teacher in Fitzmaurice Voicework at the Fitzmaurice Institute, Los Angeles.
