- Preeti Bose is an Indian cricketer who plays as a bowler for the India Women’s national cricket team. In February 2023, during the auctions of the inaugural Women’s Premier League in Mumbai, Preeti was picked up by Royal Challengers Bangalore for Rs. 30 lakhs.
- She grew up in a middle-class family in Sonipat Haryana.
- As a child, Preeti used to play gully cricket with the boys of her locality.
- Good at academics in her school days, Preeti scored 62 percent marks in class 10 and studied bio in class 11.
- She played cricket with a leather ball for the first time when she was in class 11.
- Once while she was playing cricket with her friends, she attracted the attention of her school’s sports teacher, who offered her to play for her school’s cricket team.
- Although her parents wanted her to become a doctor, they agreed to let Preeti pursue Cricket at the request of her school’s sports teacher.
