• Since his father was a great fan of Prithviraj Kapoor, he once took young Ramesh along with him to the sets of a Prithviraj Kapoor’s film. At the last minute, a child artist didn’t show up so the director walked towards Ramesh and asked him ‘Kyu be tu kaam karega kya?’ (Would you act?). Ramesh agreed and thus he got his first break as a child artist.
