• During her school days, Roopashree Vorkady was an active volleyball player.

• When she was in Class ninth, a local theatre group urgently needed an actress. They invited her to join their group. During this time, she did not know the basics of acting.

• After that, Roopashree Vorkady completed a one-month theatre camp with them and received Rs. 500 for her work.

• According to her, for a ninth-grade student, receiving Rs. 500 at one time felt like a big amount. That payment encouraged her to take another play, where she earned Rs 5,000.

• Roopashree Vorkady, once, shared her acting journey in a media talk. She said,
  

  I was a girl from a small village named Vorkady. When I was in the 9th standard, I didn’t even know the ‘ABCD’ of acting.

• After that, she decided to focus completely on acting. She initially started working as an actor as an interest because of money, but it slowly became a true passion for her.

• Her professional theatre journey began with a well-known play titled “Samsara Da Circus,” which was directed by Vijay Kumar Kodialbail.

• After that, Roopashree Vorkady received formal acting training from Christopher Ninasam and Vidhu Uchchil Rangayana.

• When she was nineteen years old, she started playing mother roles in theatre.
