  • On June 8, 2023, a junior artist named Palaniappan crashed his car into Saran’s motorcycle. The accident occurred at around 11.30 pm on Arcot Road in KK Nagar. Saran suffered severe injuries and tragically passed away at the scene. According to reports, Palaniappan was driving the car while under the influence of alcohol. Saran was travelling on Arcot Road in KK Nagar at the time of the accident. Upon witnessing the incident, a bystander promptly notified the local police. Following an investigation, it was revealed that Palaniappan from Saligramam was responsible for the accident. He was reportedly arrested by the police. Additionally, the local authorities discovered that Saran was not wearing a helmet while riding the motorcycle, which resulted in severe head injuries.  [3]India Today
