• In 2007, he came across DJ Tiësto, a Dutch DJ and record producer, while going through a few record shops following which he developed an interest towards electronica music.

• After finishing his CA exam, he went to celebrate at a bar in Delhi, where he came to know about an upcoming event in which a Dutch DJ ‘Ferry Corsten’ was to play. After attending the event, he decided to pursue a career in music rather than chartered accountancy and started studying EDM music.

• In 2010, he learned music management at Beatfactory Academy in Delhi. He paid for the music school with the CA tuition fee he received from his parents.

• He then started performing at some of his friends’ birthday and house parties.

• In 2013, Sartek played his first gig at the AIIMS Campus in Delhi.

• In 2013, Sartek released his debut single Apocalypse under Tiesto’s Magik Muzik label, one of the biggest dance music labels in the world. He became the first Indian producer to release a song under DJ Tiësto’s label.

• He has performed the opening acts for various international music artists such as Justin Bieber, Armin Van Buuren, Martin Garrix, Steve Aoki, Axwell, Nicky Romero, and many more during their India tour.

• In 2015, he released the track titled ‘Back To The Future,’ which also premiered on David Guetta’s radio show.

• In 2015, he became the first Indian to be signed by Cloud9 Music, an internationally acclaimed music publisher and record label.

• He has released music tracks with various other international record labels such as Armada Music and Sony Music.

• Later, he released many single tracks such as Don’t Need Love (2015), I’m Trippin (2016), Only You (2016), Jump Right After You (2017), and Dil Ki Doya (2021).

• In 2016, two of his tracks, Back To The Future, and Dopamine, were included in the Beatport Top 100 following which he became the first Indian electronic artist to have made it to the list.

• He is the only Indian DJ to be named in the Top 100 Electro House playlist more than once.

• In an interview, he mentioned that one of the things that annoys him the most while performing at any event is when drunk people request him to play specific Bollywood songs. He said,
  

  Although, it is more of a rarity, nowadays, I have had drunk people requesting some shady Bollywood number at a Trance gig.”

• According to him, he is a huge fan of trance music artist Armin Van Buuren and also derives inspiration from him.
