• In an interview, her father mentioned that she had shifted to Delhi to prepare for the Civil Services Examination. He added that she came back to Prayagraj in 2020 during the Covid outbreak and continued her preparation from there till the situation got better.

• In 2025, Shakti cracked the examination in her 5th attempt. This was the first time she reached the interview stage. Her final UPSC interview was conducted on 14 March 2025, in the morning session.
