- Shashank Ketkar is an Indian actor who predominantly works in the Marathi television industry. He is also an accomplished theatre artist. He is best known for his work in the Malayalam serials Honar Sun Me Hya Gharchi, Sukhachya Sarini He Man Baware, and Pahile Na Mi Tula.
- According to Shashank, he belongs to a middle-class family who wanted him to be a highly educated person. Therefore, he shifted to Australia from India to pursue an engineering degree soon after his school education.
- Shashank Ketkar completed his formal education in Sydney, Australia. During his stay in Australia, he was a part of a swimming school of Ian Thorpe, an Olympic gold medalist and worked as a duty manager for some time. He is a qualified swimmer who trained several renowned personalities in Australia in Swimming. In a media conversation, in 2015, he stated that he worked in a senior position at Thorpe’s training school. He said,
I had about 50 Australians working under him at the Thorpe’s training school and he felt superior while working at such a senior position.”
