- Shubham Dubey is an Indian cricketer. He has represented Vidarbha in List-A and T20 tournaments. During the IPL auction for the 2024 season, Rajasthan Royals acquired him.
- He had an interest in studies and used to perform well in school. During his teen years, he played cricket in his locality with his friends and developed an interest in the sport.
- He started playing cricket in tennis ball tournaments. Later, he was provided with cricket kits, equipment, and diet by an advocate named Sujit Jaiswal. Dubey decided to become a professional cricketer when he started playing for the Vidarbha Under-23 team.
- Former Vidarbha wicketkeeper, Aniruddha Chore, later told Dubey about the Times Shield tournament in Mumbai. Dubey later started playing in the Times Shield Tournament for six months, earning Rs 10,000 per month and six months in tennis ball tournaments in Nagpur for the remaining six months of the year.
- His friend and cricketer, Rohit Kaisalwar, later helped him to secure a playing opportunity for the Royal Cricket Association Club. He later played in many tournaments such as the Arjun Aamdar Chashak Tournament in 2019, the YSBS Gondia Tournament in 2020, and the VCA T20 Tournament in 2021.
