Controversy	Booked for Running Sex Racket In April 2023, the Mumbai Police took Suman into custody at a hotel in Goregaon, Mumbai. She was arrested for operating a sex racket in the city. Suman worked as a middleman between girls and the customers. In April 2023, the police's social service branch conducted a raid at the hotel and caught her red-handed. The police had received a tip that Suman was at the Royal Palm Hotel in Goregaon where she was conducting illegal activities. The police then sent an undercover officer to the hotel as a customer. Suman then made a deal with the undercover officer and told him that the charges for each model ranged from Rs 50,000 to Rs 80,000. In a media conversation, the local police shared that Suman targeted girls who had arrived in Mumbai searching for job opportunities. She would forcefully involve these girls in her prostitution business, taking advantage of their poor financial situations. Following Suman's arrest, the Mumbai Police's crime branch successfully rescued three women who were found at the hotel.
