Nidhi’s father used to work as an assistant director for Balaji Films. He started his career as an assistant director with the TV show “Kkusum” (2001).

Initially, Nidhi wanted to become a doctor; as all of her family members were doctors.

Once, Nidhi’s father took her to the shooting of one of his shows, where a director spotted her and offered her to act in a hair oil advertisement. After working in the advertisement, Nidhi decided to become an actor.

Nidhi Jha started her career as an actor with the popular Indian shows like Balika Vadhu, Beintehaa, Sankatmochan Mahabali Hanuman, Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke, Kuldeepak, and Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.

She also made episodic appearances on the shows like Crime Patrol, Adaalat, Encounter, and Aahat (season 6).
