Controversies• On 9 September 2015, he posted a post on his Facebook page, "Please stop culling dogs.. Kill them all, and save human lives #boycottkerala,". After which, a Facebook user named, Arjun Raj, posted the Mohanlal's photo with his pet dog in the comment box. Sabumon Abdusamad then rudely commented on that photo and insulted Mohanlal by using abusive words. He even mentioned his father in it indirectly.
