• He started his acting career in 1993 by playing the role of Younger Dharamraj in the Bollywood film ‘Shatranj.’

• He has also acted in a number of plays like Badi Der Ki Meherbaan Aate Aate, Local Train, and Taash Ke Patte.

• He was supposed to play the lead role in the film ‘Bazaar – The Market of Love, Lust and Desire,’ which was written by his father, but the film got shelved.

• Apart from being an actor, Sarfaraz is also a producer and has produced several Hindi and Gujarati plays like Taash Ke Patte, Raja The To Bhare Kari, Saubhagyawati, Badi Der Ki Meherbaan Aate Aate, Local Train, and Best of Luck.
