Dawodu now works for the prestigious fashion magazine GQ now; he left Fader, after working there for 11 years.

He has traveled around the world, to about 50-60 countries along with just one photographer and a bunch of clothes that they would try on all sorts of people.

His job to him does not feel like a job at all. He said he worked at Fader because he was free for 11 years and still feels the same.

Dawodu is barely seen without his unique style of hats. He doesn’t even go to the shop around the corner without wearing one out of his wide variety of hats.

He is a fashion editor and he himself does not shop! He gets his clothes stitched mostly. Whenever he goes on travelling to Africa and Asia, he gets his clothes tailored.

He loves turtlenecks and considers himself the “the turtleneck God”. “I only wear turtlenecks in the winter—you’ll see,” he said.
